Quick guide
As a general rule when selecting bushings, the softer the bushings, the more responsive and easier your trucks will be to turn. Firmer bushings will feel less responsive compared with softer bushings, but in turn provide better stability and tighter trucks.You can adjust the tightness of your trucks but only to some extent. If you feel like you can’t turn the locknut any tighter and still think your trucks are too loose, consider getting harder bushings or adding in the washers that were included with your trucks. Contrarily, if you feel that your trucks are too tight even with the locknut loosened, it’s time to look for softer bushings. Some riders may find that their optimal set up is a combination of top and bottom bushings in different durometers.
Do not overtighten.
